One of the most beautiful and surprising hiking trails we know is the Dragon's Ridge. On the mountain ridge between Heyd and Lignely runs the Col du Rideû, the only recognized Belgian mountain pass.

When you follow this path eastward, you reach the Kroon, a high point of 380 meters. Deciduous forests gradually give way to a winding path with rocky peaks that form the dragon's back.

The landscape here seems to come straight out of Tolkien's books. Breathtaking scenery, walking between moss-covered rocks, with steep cliffs on both sides.
