Le Hérou is a rugged piece of nature, surrounded by the Ourthe River, with small paths and sharp peaks. On this small island, you can take unique hikes and descend a daring section via a chain.

The extremely narrow and elongated peninsula is entirely surrounded by the Ourthe River. You begin at the tip of the peninsula, high above the river. Through the middle of the peninsula runs a rocky formation – a so-called "crête" – which creates very rugged paths and a descent of a 50-meter high rock wall via a chain! Be cautious, as a fall can be deadly!
