Wild & Adventurous

The Trôs Marets is without a doubt the most spectacular mountain river in Belgium. Located on the edge of the High Fens, this wild area offers an adventurous and very varied walk.

From Ferme Libert you immediately walk into the forest. In the distance you can hear the Trôs Maret pouring down from the hills. A true torrent that finds its way between the hard rocks of sandstone and quartzite. The path runs along the flank and is difficult to navigate in some places. It looks like an alpine landscape and that feeling is further enhanced by the cable that is stretched along the mountain stream to prevent tripping.

The walk offers beautiful views of the river, ice-cold waterfalls, and a small piece of fagnes at the end!
