In the heart of the Ardennes, in the municipality of Manhay, lies "La Chartreuse," nestled in nature. Built in 1873 by Monsieur Piedboeuf, the founder of Jupiler beer, it was intended as a Maison de maître, a hunting lodge, and a base for exploring nature. This place has played various significant roles in the Battle of the Ardennes and was even home to an Indian Maharaja and his harem.
The associated coach house has recently been completely renovated, equipped with all modern luxuries, and is now available as a 4-person gîte/holiday home.
The coach house aims to make guests feel at home, with everything they need provided, except for good hiking shoes to enjoy the 400 hectares of forest surrounding the property.
