Zeer leuk vakantiehuis. Midden in bos en rustig gelegen. Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor mooie wandeling. Huisje heeft alle voorzieningen. Enkel de wifi kan beter. Zeker een plek om terug te komen.

We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed the peace and nature!! There are four beaver dams less than 200 m from the house, unfortunately we were not there at the right time, but apparently the chance is greatest at dusk. The house itself is very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing in my opinion is a decent chef's knife to cut vegetables, otherwise everything was fine!

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Le Refuge met onze hondjes. De locatie van het chalet ligt midden in de bossen en ca. 10 minuten rij-afstand van La Roche voor je boodschappen en een terrasje. Zoek je rust, dan boek je dit sfeervolle en volledig uitgeruste chalet.

Le Refuge is a fairly recently completely rebuilt/renovated chalet. Everything is/feels new; from the cutlery and the kitchen to the shower. Nicely detached. Based on the photos, I thought it would be a bit larger. Nice spots created for when the sun shines on the terrace at the rear. Energy costs were charged separately, I don't remember seeing that mentioned online. I think we lost 20 euros for 4 days.

This holiday home is in a great location, you can see nature through every window you look! So if you want to relax, you've come to the right place, there are many walks in the area that you can experience. A lot is provided in this house, the wood stove provides warmth to the house. We only regretted that there were no curtains in the living room. There should also be information about how the heating in the bedroom worked, because we did not know how this worked. And the biggest drawback was that the fan in the bathroom was constantly running, so you couldn't leave the door open to let the heat go there. Hopefully the owners will do something about this soon. Apart from this I can only recommend it!!

Very nice and quiet location. And yet at a comprehensible distance from the 'civilized world'. The house is nicely decorated. On cold days, however, it is necessary to heat the wood stove to bring the indoor temperature to an acceptable level.
